-- "...fragrance of cassis, blackberry, raspberry boysenberry and plum"
Tasting Notes
“A clean fragrance of cassis, blackberry, raspberry boysenberry and plum leads into an explosion of fresh fruit flavors on the palate, with a supple, soft, silky mouth feel and a hint of baked maple, vanilla, coconut, brown sugar and cinnamon that finishes long, fruity and jammy.”
Vintage OverviewThe 2004 growing season got off to a warm start followed by a cooler period during bloom. Warm, dry, and constant weather conditions during the summer months created uniform berry maturation. Warm temperatures during the last days of summer produced excellent ripening conditions. 2004 followed a freeze year resulting in a lighter crop throughout the region.
